Brad Ishler
Brad
Ishler, founder of Quality Systems Services, has more than 30 years of professional
experience and leadership in Quality Management and Organizational Development.
As a Quality Executive in the electronics industry, Mr. Ishler was instrumental
in successful implementation of various “Lean” and “Six
Sigma” improvement tools, concepts and processes including Kaizen, 5S,
Kanban, Cellular Flow, Standardized Work, Team Development, etc. during the
1980’s and 1990’s. He has authored, implemented, managed and audited
numerous ISO 9000 compliant quality management systems and is a certified
ISO 9000 lead auditor.
Brad is a senior member of the American Society for Quality and Treasurer of the ASQ Section 501, North Central Pennsylvania Region. As a long time member of the Chamber of Business and Industry of Centre County, he served on the board of the Centre County Total Quality Council, Central Pennsylvania Quality Award audit team and the Workforce Development Committee of Centre County.
Through Quality Systems Services, Brad provides modern business management consulting services to organizations in support of their strategic plans and goals including growth, increased profits and customer satisfaction improvement. These services help organizations eliminate waste, reduce costs, improve productivity and quality through a customer focused team approach to process improvement.

Frank Chelko
Introduction
Frank Chelko is an instructor with the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania
State University, University Park, PA. Mr. Chelko's course instruction includes:
Quality Management, Business Process Flow and Analysis, Quality Strategies
and Management (QMM 551), Design Practices for Manufacturing (QMM 571 / 572),
Manufacturing and Service Strategies (SC&IS 405), Materials Management,
and Procurement Strategy (SC&IS 406). His work for the Smeal College of
Business began in the spring semester of 2001. Frank was formerly the Corporate
Director of Quality and Reliability Assurance for C-COR.net, a manufacturer
of telecommunications electronics. Mr. Chelko led the corporation's efforts
in achieving the Central Pennsylvania Quality Award in 1999, 2000, 2001, and
2002. His management experience includes leadership of Quality, Operations
and Supply Chain as well as Engineering Program management departments with
high-tech businesses. The companies include Xerox, Digital Equipment Corporation,
Seagate Technology and Conner Peripherals as well as several entrepreneurial
start-ups located in the Silicon Valley region of California. Additionally,
his professional experiences include the quality management of international
suppliers and the transfer of manufacturing technology to Far East and European
locations.
